Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of grokimage.org, Grok Image accounts, image and video generators, credit purchases, and related services. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Grok Image provides tools for prompt-based image generation, reference image remixing, short video generation, private generation history, and one-time credit purchases. Features, models, limits, and providers may change.

Grok Image is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by xAI.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

• You must be at least 13 and legally able to accept these Terms.
• If local law requires parental permission, you must obtain it.
• You must provide accurate account information and keep it current.
• You are responsible for your password, sessions, and account activity.
• You must notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Inputs, Outputs, and Rights

You retain whatever rights you have in prompts, uploads, and other material you submit. You grant Grok Image and its service providers a limited license to host, transmit, process, and display that material only as needed to operate, secure, and support the Service.

Subject to applicable law and model-provider terms, you may use your generated output for personal or commercial purposes. AI output may not be unique, may resemble output created for others, and may not qualify for copyright or other protection in every jurisdiction.

You are responsible for confirming that your inputs and use of outputs do not violate privacy, publicity, intellectual property, contract, or other rights. We do not guarantee that output is accurate, original, lawful, or suitable for a particular use.

4. Acceptable Use

You may not use the Service to:

• Break the law, violate another person's rights, or facilitate fraud
• Create or distribute child sexual abuse material or exploit minors
• Generate non-consensual intimate imagery or deceptive impersonation intended to cause harm
• Upload malware, attack systems, bypass safeguards, or evade rate limits
• Use another person's account or resell access without permission
• Interfere with the Service or use automation that creates unreasonable load

We may remove content, restrict features, suspend accounts, or report conduct when reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect the Service, or comply with law.

5. One-Time Credits and Payment

• Credit packs are one-time purchases, not subscriptions.
• Prices and included credits are shown at checkout before purchase.
• Purchased credits are added after the payment provider confirms payment.
• Different models, resolutions, and video durations use different credit amounts.
• Credit rates may change for future tasks, but completed task charges are not changed retroactively.
• Paid credits do not expire while your account remains active and in good standing.
• Free, bonus, promotional, or restored credits may follow separate offer terms.
• Credits are tied to one account, cannot be transferred, and have no cash value.

A task that reaches a confirmed failed state is eligible for automatic credit restoration through the generation workflow. Delays, pending states, or dissatisfaction with a successful output do not by themselves establish a failed task. Refund requests are governed by our Refund Policy.

6. Privacy, Storage, and Providers

Our Privacy Policy explains how account data, prompts, uploads, results, purchases, and technical data are handled. Generation content may be sent to third-party AI providers to complete your request. Payment and authentication providers apply their own terms and policies.

Generation history is private to the account by default, but no online service is guaranteed to be available or secure at all times. Download important results you need to keep.

7. Service Changes and Availability

AI providers can be slow, unavailable, rate-limited, or change their models without notice. We may modify, pause, or discontinue features to maintain security, comply with provider rules, or operate the Service. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or a particular output.

8. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for material Terms violations, fraud, chargeback abuse, security risk, legal requirements, or prolonged operational necessity. Where practical, we will provide notice and a chance to resolve the issue.

9. Disclaimers

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE AND AI OUTPUTS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR UNINTERRUPTED AVAILABILITY.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Grok Image is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, business, or goodwill arising from the Service. Our total liability for a claim will not exceed the amount you paid Grok Image during the twelve months before the event giving rise to that claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you.

11. Changes, Applicable Law, and Contact

We may update these Terms when the Service, providers, or legal requirements change. Material changes apply from the stated update date and do not reduce rights that cannot be waived under applicable law. Before filing a formal claim, contact us and allow a reasonable chance to resolve the issue informally.
